Two Traditions Meet

Kareline & Amir got in touch about their wedding photography, and when I met them I had really a good feeling straight away. They are such lovely people, full of joy and happiness. The connection between them was obvious. Their eyes just sparkled.! They told me of the plan to have the wedding in the Amsterdam Tower, Loft (A’dam Toren) which I had never been to but when we visited it I saw what an amazing venue it would be to photograph on their wedding day. Its really an amazing space and with the views of Amsterdam from the terrace outside it is really stunning..!

Kareline and Amir have a lot of family and friends from all over the world so this really was a cultural coming together. You could just touch the atmosphere when the dancing got going during dinner. It was so great to photograph these moments. People were literally getting up from dinner to dance and leaving the food on the table. Incredible. I only intended to stay until 11 in the evening but found myself still there at 1 am making photos of all the people having a great time..
